One of the first group projects I worked on was a magazine called Lark: The Illegitimate Fallacies That Concoct What We Perceive to Be the Veritable Veracity of Existence. It was a collection of conspiracy theories and unproven scientific theories, “fringe beliefs”. The portion I worked on was about the Holographic Universe, a theory that explains how the universe and mind work as one gigantic hologram. The overall concept of the magazine was to start the off well structured and organized like any other magazine then slowly descent into madness. Our target audience were people who didn't really believe in this stuff but could be persuaded which is why we wanted to start safe and lead them there.
